El Jardín Hostel is a "filipino" styled building named by the villagers, although it was built towards the end of the 1700s.

At the beginning of the 1900s the house was reformed in the favourite style of the period - modernism, we can see how the rounded forms on the balcony balustrade ¨- roses- and the exterior carpentry reflect on its different air to the other timeworn houses in Garachico. Although the façade is different, it has typical canary aspects as well. 

It is located in the centre or casco of the town and is only 50 metres away from the sea. The same building shares a chemist and the school Argonautas. 

Along the same road there are religious processions which pass going towards the "romerias". The advantage of the houses position allows us to be present in all these events.(  where we are ? >>>  )

On entering the house, we find a framed wooden door with engraved glass panes in the obvious modernism style.

Passing though the door, we find a welcoming patio, where Regula (the proprietress) keeps the flowers and plants in perfect condition.

Around these plants are tables and chairs for reading, having a drink or even a party!

Climbing up a magnificent wooden stair case, we arrive to the first floor, which is also made of wooden floorboards.

On the right we find the three first bedrooms, which are large with two beds and a washbasin in each. Following the corridor that, on its left has two big windows overlooking the patio, there is another bedroom (no. 4) decorated with antique . 

Furnishings. This room also has two large windows overlooking the patio and a wash basin. In front of no.4 is a bathroom.
Owing to the unique layout of the house, there is only one spacious bathroom (20m2) with an antique Victorian legged iron bath, shower, toilet and washbasin.
