Climate in Tenerife

 

These paradise islands (named “Las Afortunados”-The Fortunate Isles, one of the main international tourist destinations) have ideal natural conditions as it has the least variable thermal of the planet ( no more than 6 ·C between seasons) on average there are more than 300 days of sun per year. The rest there is rain (300 mm. in the coastal areas and 500mm. in the mountains) more in the north, which is the greenest.

 

The relief includes volcanic mountains such as the Teide (3.717 meters in height) it gives the paradox of enjoying snow on its summit.

 

The average temperatures are found between 18 (winter) and 24·C (summer) (64,4 and 75,2·F).these create an eternal spring without very cold winters or suffocating summers, it allows us to sunbathe or swim of the beaches all year round.

In the water the Canary Islands current warms the water to an average of 19·C in the winter and 22·C in the summer, many times it is warmer than the atmosphere making our diving activities even better.
