Because the way down to the sea is sloping it is very easy to reach the beach and the centre of town.

Coming back to the hotel may present problems for guests with restricted mobility but these can be overcome by using either an electric wheelchair or the shuttle-service both offered by the Disability Service Centre Lero.

The architecture of Mar y Sol comprises a spanish-style construction, built on two and three levels accessible throughout by lifts. The few steps you come across within the complex can be avoided using ramps.

WHEATHER: The healing climatic conditions occuring especially in the southwest of the island, and most notably in Los Cristianos, were decisive in the choice of the location for the hotel.
The northeast trade winds, the closeness to equator, the influence of the Gulf stream and of the surrounding ocean are responsible for the mildness of the climate. This is especially the case to the south side of the 3.718 m high volcanic mountain, Teide. It is therefore not surprising that the island of Tenerife has for decades been known as being one of the areas with the best climate in the world
